Buzzing to announce our next WELTAUSWAHL! This Saturday 09.03. at Ritter Butzke, Berlin.
A line up we dared to dream of that eventually became a reality!
We are huge fans of Clark since ever! He created such a enormous spectrum of beautiful music and with Sus Dog and Cave Dog he released two mind blowing albums even last year alone. Always surprising, versatile, brain melting and unique!
And we are big admirers of Michael Mayer too for much longer than we know him personally. Not only is he an absolute master of his craft as a Deejay but also a kind and sublime human being. And btw he runs a little sideshow called Kompakt Records!
Keeping what is now a tradition we got another awesome picture by Joe Webb Art for the artwork.

Even after so many years it's always a pleasure to work with Jacqueline & Riley at Traum Schallplatten! Very happy how this EP came together. Each track is from a different time and each had occupied a special place for us but we weren't sure where and how to release them. When doing the last one called "Samtstrand" it suddenly felt like the missing piece of the puzzle had accumulated. By chance we found the fitting artwork by Armin Hartenstein which even has the same title: Wellental! Hope you like it. Although or maybe even because we live pretty far from each other it always is inspiring, fresh and dope to get together with Matthew to create these „a bit different“ tunes. I think it’s safe to say for both of us that the music that comes out of it has a slightly atypical perspective and angle than the stuff we both do alone and that’s what a collaboration really should be. We were surprised how close our taste regarding proper pounding Techno is when we talked about our early experiences, what we cherish and what we want to aim for. Big shout to Ingo and the Cocoon crew for putting in quiet some shifts to stamp all these heavy little 10“s! And to Lupo for the exquisite mastering, cut and etching. It really turned out to look, feel and sound exactly like we hoped for.
